RULES AND SAFETY 

A per BC rules for flat water racing. All paddlers in divisions 7 8 9 and  GS abc must  wear bouyancy aids and are recommended  for all under 16 paddlers. It is the team leaders responsibility to ensure that all their paddlers can swim 50m in race clothing and have no medical or other pre disposition that could affect their safety while on the water. We reserve the right to make all paddlers wear bouyancy aids if the conditions require it.  Paddlers are to ensure their boats have sufficient buoyancy to support the crew and craft in the event of a capsize.  Footwear is recommended for paddlers required to portage. Narrow boats and other craft may be on the water during racing. 

CHANGING ROOMS, TOILETS AND SHOWERS 

Are available in the outdoor pursuits building. Do not leave anything in the changing rooms while racing. 

BOATS 

Vertical  white  number boards will be  required.

All entrants  must have on the water BC membership

RACING COLOURS

Paddlers are required to wear club vests/colours to qualify for Hasler points.
